A series of poly(ethylene-co-vinyl alcohol)/poly(?-caprolactone) blends with different compositions were prepared using solvent casting. The miscibility this pair polymers was investigated differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), and proved by a negative Flory interaction parameter value calculated from the Nishi–Wang equation. blend also confirmed electronic microscopy (SEM). thermal behaviors obtained materials DSC, thermogravimetric analysis, direct analysis in real-time–time-of-flight mass spectrometry results very relevant. Furthermore, crystalline properties studied DSC X-ray diffraction where Ozawa approach adopted to investigate non-isothermal crystallization kinetics. revealed that described process well.
